ALTON Honolulu Tote Bag

A classical tote bag. For the body of the bag we use waterproof Olona cotton and natural chrome tanned leather. The strap and handles are made of tough vegetable tanned leather and carefully picked Italian accessories give the product a perfect finish. Olona cotton is strong and durable and makes the bags really light to carry.

Designer’s note: Honolulu Tote Bag is a sort of bag that every woman should own. An ideal companion in the office, library and why not in the grocery store or on a vacation.

Care: Although Olona fabric is machine washable we urge you not to put an ALTON bag in the washing machine, because there are leather parts attached to it and this is not suitable for leather. Clean your bag with a damp cloth or sponge, but try to avoid excessive scratching and scrubbing. If needed only use special leather soap on leather parts. After cleaning you can treat leather with a special moisturizing and protective cream. Special attention should be payed to the corners of the bag and also straps/handles, because these are the parts that wear out first.

ALTON bags are all waterproof, but you can still spray them with water repellent just to be sure. This spray should be suitable for both leather and textile. Follow the instructions on the bottle.

Behind the brand Alton Bags stands accessory designer Anneli Kree. She is originally from Tallinn, Estonia, but now living and working in Tartu. Basically you could say that she designs for herself, because all her designs are inspired from a problem or a specific need that she herself has felt. Her clients, like herself, appreciate comfort and functionality, as well as the esthetics of the product. She loves her line of work because she gets to create something with her own two hands and see the visions in her head become reality.
