Ceramicist Solveiga Gutautė creates contemporary Baltic porcelain jewellery and stoneware crockery for sentimental souls, who want to reconnect with nature. The artist’s ideas, time, glance and closeness have been gathered from the past and put into each of the ceramic pieces. The porcelain jewellery collections are dedicated to and described by fairy tales. Then ceramic creations become meaningful, with their own stories and awaken feelings inside the wearer. The making process requires two or three firings at 1250 degrees Celsius. Then it is decorated with gold, platinum and underglaze decorative paint.
