We are extremely proud to celebrate our very first birthday! It means that a whole year of passionate hard work has gone by since our opening ceremony in theatre NO99. We’re celebrating our birthday with a whole week in Solo Sokos Hotel Estoria with an exclusive pop-up store dedicated to wooden designers and a meet-up with Wuruhi’s friends on May 10 in Amarillo!
It is true when they say that building a company from scratch is like having a baby: the work never ends, there are never enough hours in the day (especially for sleeping!) but in the end, it’s all worth it! Since launching Wuruhi, our team has put their hearts and souls into making our platform increasingly known and our e-shop more user-friendly. We’ve learned and we’ve fixed – but what’s more, we’ve never given up!
We are really happy that new designers such as Mideer Alpaka have joined Wuruhi’s platform and that we’ve managed to take part in so many events. We met up with Estonian magazine editors to introduce ourselves, set up pop-up stores during Tallinn Music Week’s Design Market and in Kultuurikatel during Winter and Spring Design Markets, traveled all the way to the Baltic Bridal Show in Vilnius and took the Wuruhi Design Bus to Riga Fashion Week.
Wuruhi is immeasurably happy to have collaborated with Solo Sokos Hotel Estoria for setting up three different pop-up stores that, one by one, introduced Estonian leather, jewellery and now, wooden designers in the heart of Tallinn.
Finally, we’re honouring our two jewellery artists – Kaire Rannik and Anneli Tammik – with Wuruhi Designer Award 2018 for most sold products in Wuruhi e-shop and pop-up stores. We’re so proud of how well they and all our designers have done this year!
